A young father of two has been found dead during the lockdown.

Twenty-seven year old Ashley Blackmore passed away in St Keverne, Helston.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

Ashley’s grieving family are coming to terms with their loss: his brothers are helping with a memorial fund and are keeping friends and family informed online in this article.

Sean Beckleg posted that his brother was “taken so suddenly at such a young age…. and in the worst possible time. “

Sean posted on May 3rd: “Today is the saddest day I have ever experienced.

“Out of nowhere we have lost a part of our team: from this day forward things somehow will never be the same.

“Ashley Blackmore you’re forever In our hearts little bro! I wish I had more time for you over the years. Sleep well xx”

Former chef Ashley doted on his two young children Eliza and Oscar. He lived much of his life in Helston.

Sean, who with his sibling Jason is organising a memorial fund, posted: “It is clear to see Ashley touched the life of many people.

“Thank you to all that have reached out in this difficult time to check on us.

“Your heart felt messages mean a lot to us, and to know that Ashley was loved so much by so many comes through as a beacon of light in these dark times.”

Thank you to all those that have donated to Ashley’s memorial fund.

“Hopefully with enough money raised we will be able to give him the send off he deserves and to put something nice in a place he loved to be, for those that loved to be around him.”

The Go Fund Me to help the family with Ashley’s funeral has raised £2,500 and surpassed the target set.
